Promoshark buying guide

Discover all the tools that make buying customised products easier

A platform designed to simplify your customised orders.

Buying merchandise for a business is not just about choosing a product and adding it to the basket. It is also important to compare options, check availability, understand delivery times, save configurations, share quotes and make sure the chosen personalisation is the right one.

To help you prepare a customised order without surprises, Promoshark includes a wide range of features designed to give you the information you need before making a decision.

In this guide, we show you where to find each one, how it works and, above all, how it can help you save time, avoid mistakes and manage your orders more comfortably.

Stage 01

Before deciding which product to buy

You may not yet know which product best fits your project. Before personalising anything, this stage helps you compare corporate gifts, save your favourite options and understand each candidate in depth — so you reach the configurator with the decision already made.

To compare and save your favourite options

FT-01

Shipping warehouse badge

Next to the wishlist heart, you will see a blue badge showing the exact origin of your product.

What is it for?
It lets you see at a glance which warehouse your order will ship from and what delivery timing you can expect.
What you'll find
A blue badge next to the wishlist heart, showing the supplier warehouse code: MKT, MID, PFC, GEU, XDC or GG.
Our tip
If you are ordering several references, check whether they share the same warehouse: that usually means they can ship together.
What you gain
You know the origin of your order instantly, even before adding it to the basket.
FT-02

Wishlist

Have you found an interesting product, but it is not the right moment to buy yet?

What is it for?
It lets you save it without committing to anything — your wishlist does not expire and does not depend on you remembering it later.
What you'll find
A heart button on each product page that saves the item to your account so you can find it later.
Our tip
Use it together with the comparison tool: save anything that interests you across categories, then decide later what to compare side by side.
What you gain
You can keep exploring other options without worrying about losing this one. Once you have your shortlist, you can return to it and continue where you left off.
FT-03

Comparison tool

Imagine you are choosing between three bottles for an event.

What is it for?
It helps you review materials, capacities, printing techniques and prices without opening ten tabs at once.
What you'll find
A floating widget that collects products so you can compare them side by side, wherever you go on the site.
Our tip
The "Compare (N)" counter stays with you even if you change category: you can compare different products if delivery time or supplier matters more than the item type.
What you gain
You decide with the data in front of you, not from memory or with ten tabs open at the same time.
FT-04

Recently viewed

If you lost track between tabs, it is still waiting for you here.

What is it for?
Useful when you cannot remember how you got to that product that caught your eye.
What you'll find
A compact panel anchored to the bottom left with the last 3 products you viewed.
Our tip
Minimise it with the "−" icon whenever you want to focus on a product page: on desktop, the website remembers your preference on your next visit.
What you gain
You can return to a product without repeating the search or relying on the back button.

💡 Promoshark tip

Save everything that interests you to your wishlist while you explore, and use the comparison tool only with your 2 to 4 finalists. That way you reach the decision without losing sight of anything along the way.

Everything you need to know about each product, in its own product page

You already have one or more candidates. Before you move forward, four tabs answer what really makes the difference between getting it right and having to send an order back: where the logo can go, how to check stock, which materials are used and what delivery times apply in each case.

PI-01

Print Areas

This tab shows you exactly where you can place your logo on each product.

What is it for?
It tells you, before configuring anything, where your logo can be placed on that specific product.
What you'll find
A diagram showing the product areas available for branding.
Our tip
Check it before opening the configurator: you will already know which position you want to choose, without trial and error.
What you gain
Fewer back-and-forths with your design team — and the confidence that the logo fits where you expected it to.
PI-02

Availability

The real stock of each variant is always visible and up to date.

What is it for?
It lets you check whether there is enough stock before spending time configuring the branding.
What you'll find
Updated stock status by size and colour for the product.
Our tip
Check it first for urgent or large orders: it avoids configuring the whole order only to find out at the end that units are missing.
What you gain
No surprises at checkout — the quantity you need, confirmed from the start.
PI-03

Technical specifications

The documentation you would usually request by email is already here.

What is it for?
It helps you confirm that the product meets your project's technical requirements, without needing to email anyone.
What you'll find
Complete specifications: materials, dimensions, weight and product capacity.
Our tip
You can use it directly for your internal purchasing approvals, without requesting a separate data sheet.
What you gain
All the documentation you need to approve the spend, in the same place as the purchase.
PI-04

Delivery times

A real date calculated for that product — not a generic "ask for lead times" message.

What is it for?
It helps you know when your order will arrive before you pay, in two scenarios: without branding or with personalisation.
What you'll find
A banner with the estimated date range, plus an ⓘ icon explaining how it is calculated.
Our tip
The range changes as soon as you activate personalisation in the configurator: keep an eye on it if your deadline is tight.
What you gain
You plan around a real date for your event or delivery, not a generic estimate.

Did you know...?

More than 80 % of delivery-time questions are answered just by checking the "Delivery times" tab, without needing to contact support.

The range is calculated according to the dispatch warehouse (here, PFC) and whether you choose personalisation or not: without branding, 3 to 6 working days; with branding, 7 to 11 working days, depending on the technique.
Stage 02

While you configure your personalisation

The branding configurator is one of the most powerful tools on the site. It helps you choose the right printing technique for each position, calculates tiered pricing and lets you request a supporting document — a quote or a mock-up — before taking the final step.

CF-01

Step 1 — Colours and quantities

The real unit price is visible here, before you do anything with branding.

What is it for?
It shows you the real unit price before you make any decisions about branding.
What you'll find
A colour and quantity selector, with pricing decreasing by tier as volume increases.
Our tip
Test several quantities before fixing the colour: sometimes ordering slightly more works out cheaper per unit.
What you gain
You lock in the variant and volume with the real price already in front of you, before committing to branding.
CF-02

Step 2 — Personalisation, position and technique

The system automatically rules out techniques that do not work for that position.

What is it for?
It helps you configure the real branding of your logo without risking a choice that does not fit.
What you'll find
A flow that asks whether you want personalisation and, if so, in which position and with which technique — already filtered for that position.
Our tip
You can brand up to two different positions on the same product (for example chest + sleeve), each with its own technique and cost.
What you gain
It is impossible to choose an incompatible technique: the system filters out the ones that do not work for that position.
CF-03

Quote and mock-up

Request a proof or a supporting document without committing to buy yet.

What is it for?
It helps you validate the spend internally or confirm how the design will look before production.
What you'll find
One button to download the quote as a PDF and another to request a merchandise mock-up with your artwork already applied to the actual product.
Our tip
Always request the mock-up if the logo has gradients or small text: you confirm legibility in that specific technique before printing.
What you gain
You confirm the result — both price and design — before it goes into production.

💡 Promoshark tip

If this is the first time you are ordering that product or the logo includes fine details, always request the mock-up before confirming: you will see exactly how it looks before it goes into production.

Stage 03

Before confirming your order

This is the final stage of ordering customised merchandise on Promoshark: a guided journey in four blocks that you review and correct separately, so a last-minute change does not force you to redo everything you had already completed.

CT-01

Guided checkout in 4 steps

Each step is validated separately — changing one does not wipe the others.

What is it for?
It helps you complete payment without losing track of what you have already reviewed.
What you'll find
A four-block journey: basket summary → address → shipping method → payment.
Our tip
You can go back to a previous step without repeating the rest: changing the address does not force you to choose shipping or payment again.
What you gain
A last-minute error does not undo everything else — each block is validated separately.
Checkout in 4 steps
Explore each step
Review products, quantities and download the quote if you are not ready to pay yet.
Stage 04

After preparing your quote

Once the configuration is ready, you decide how to move forward. Here is how to save a customised merchandise quote exactly as you left it, turn it into a formal document for approval, or check how your order travels once confirmed — even if it arrives in more than one box.

CT-02

Save cart

Leave the order ready to be resumed exactly when you want to confirm it.

What is it for?
It lets you keep the order ready while you wait for approval from your purchasing department.
What you'll find
The "My account → My shopping carts" feature, which saves the current basket contents.
Our tip
Save a different cart for each project or client so you do not mix quotes from different departments.
What you gain
You recover the exact cart when the decision is made, without configuring anything again.
CT-03

Download PDF quote (full cart)

One single document instead of a screenshot of the basket.

What is it for?
It gives you a formal document to send to whoever needs to approve the spend.
What you'll find
A single PDF grouping all basket lines together, including shipping and timing.
Our tip
The "accept quote" link inside the PDF rebuilds the full basket exactly as it was: you do not have to recreate the purchase item by item.
What you gain
A single document for internal approval or negotiation, instead of a basket screenshot.
CT-04

Shipments from different warehouses

Two boxes do not mean two orders or that something went wrong.

What is it for?
It helps you understand why your order may arrive in more than one box, even when it comes from a single supplier.
What you'll find
A record of each actual shipment, each with its own tracking number, inside the order details.
Our tip
Check the order details in "My account" if you are expecting several boxes: there you will see each tracking number separately, not just the first one.
What you gain
You can follow each shipment in real time and understand that two boxes do not mean anything has gone wrong.

💡 Promoshark tip

Always save the cart before requesting approval from the purchasing department. Once you get the green light, you only need to recover it and complete the order.

In summary

A catalogue alone is not enough to make the right decision

Promoshark does not simply display a catalogue of customised products. The platform is designed to help you make better decisions at every stage of the order: from comparing alternatives and checking stock to configuring branding, sharing quotes or tracking shipments.

The better you know these tools, the faster you can prepare your projects and the easier it becomes to manage each order.
